The Indian Kabaddi Team will face-off with Republic of Korea on the opening day of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup here in Ahmedabad. All eyes are on the hosts as they are clearly the favourites to win the title. Ajay Thakur, one of India’s best raiders in recent times, is all set to send the opponents packing. The kabaddi stalwart from Himachal Pradesh has also represented Bengaluru Bulls and Puneri Paltan in the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi and his performances there have been great examples of his raiding abilities.

Dubbed as one of the most aggressive players the game has ever seen, Thakur’s presence on the mat will be enough to challenge the morale of any opposing side.
